Unique Features of a HipSTUD

The HipSTUD offers a comprehensive and realistic model for hip surgery training, incorporating a range of detailed anatomical structures. Key features include the sacrum, left ilium (with the right available upon request), left femur, labrum, and capsule, along with critical vascular structures such as the femoral and lateral circumflex arteries, and nerves including the femoral and lateral femoral cutaneous nerves. This provides an accurate representation of the hip region for surgical practice.

Additionally, the HipSTUD includes customizable musculature options, allowing for the inclusion of muscles like the glutes, quads, adductor longus, pectineus, obturators, gemelli, piriformis, psoas, TFL, and sartorius. The model is also designed with skin and radiolucent soft tissue, providing a lifelike surgical experience while maintaining clear visibility for radiographic imaging. This level of detail makes the HipSTUD an exceptional tool for teaching and practicing a wide range of hip surgical techniques.
